CSI Sports Archive prides itself in the service we offer and the level of attention we afford our clients. As a heritage collection, an archive is to be preserved, cherished and managed diligently and effectively.
CSI Sports Archive has extensive experience in sports archive management and exploitation and is staffed by people who not only understand the business but have a genuine love of sport. Maintaining an archive successfully must be the perfect blend of preservation and knowledge. CSI Sports Archive in partnership with our clients enhances their archives through creative production ideas and a proactive timetable of acquisition.
Archive
Using a custom-built database, our highly skilled and experienced researchers collate and log material to an unrivalled level of detail for both its visual and commercial impact.
Our comprehensive system is easy to use and provides cross-reference functionality to search and browse footage suitable for any specific request. Our database is currently being re-written to enable full Internet access both for clients, CSI Sports Archive operations around the world and potential customers. It will also allow us to ingest digitised footage. All tapes under CSI Sport's control are stored in a temperature and humidity controlled secure environment. We currently hold approximately 90,000 tapes for a variety of clients including The Football Association, The Football League, The England & Wales Cricket Board, Cricket Australia and SANZAR rugby.
Acquistions
Acquisitions and Restoration are at the centre of how CSI Sports believes archives should be developed. It is our belief that all archives should be dynamic and all new archives are assessed to identify missing material. CSI Sports then manage the process of retrieving both the content and copyright of this missing material.
